Update on wading pool at 575 Larsen Ave.

Another exciting redevelopment initiative is underway in our neighbourhood of Chalmers! As you can see from the picture, there is lots of work happening at the wading pool site which is located at East End Cultural and Leisure Center (575 Larsen Ave). We have highlighted below some of the details related to these improvements which should be completed shortly!

Phase 1 Wading Pool Improvements 

• Hours of operation expanded to Tues – Sat 11:00am – 5:30pm
• added Spray Features
• adjustments to the wading pool basin to include Wheelchair access

Phase 2 Rubberizing Wheelchair Access

• Rubberized coating for the Wheelchair Ramp will be installed after the pool has closed for the season.

Pool Schedule

• Scheduled to be open on Saturday July 19, 2014
• Scheduled to close for the season after operation on Friday August 29, 2014
