Chalmers Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation has officially purchased the building formerly known as Sky Sundae at 301 Ottawa Avenue. But this isn't just a new space — it's the next chapter of community care, connection, and action.
We're transforming it into the Chalmers Neighbourhood Renewal Housing, Resources & Food Rescue Hub. That's a bit of a mouthful, so we're calling it The CHARM Hub: Chalmers Housing, Access to Resources & Meals. Because that's exactly what this space will hold — a little bit of magic, a lot of purpose, and everything rooted in community.
This space will be a living, breathing example of what happens when community leads — when we stop waiting, and start building.
From ice cream scoops to second chances. From an empty storefront to full hearts.
We are so grateful to every partner, funder, volunteer, and community member who continues to believe in this work. This is yours just as much as it is ours.
