Neighbourhoods Alive! representative-
- Joy Goertzen- Executive Director- Community and Cooperative Development
  - 27 Projects from the Neighbour Renewal Fund this year- 2 intakes per year- www.neighbourhoodsalive.mb.ca

- Theresa Tougas- Member of Advisory Committee spoke on behalf of the Chalmers Neighborhood Renewal Corporation

6:15 pm Annual General Meeting Aspects
- Chaired by Rhonda Lorch-
  - Support to Neighbourhood Renewal Corporations in Manitoba
  - Outlined Robert’s Rules of Order
  - Principles of Governance- motions moved and seconded and discussion, questions can take place after seconding
  - Voting Procedures- members received red and green cards to vote
    - red- not in favour
    - green- in favor
- Motions require clear majority to pass as determined by Chair

General Business
- Appoint minute taker – motion to approve Leilani Esteban recorder
  - moved and seconded – clear majority in favour- Motion Carried
- Approval of agenda – motion to approve agenda as presented
  - moved and seconded- clear majority in favour- Motion Carried
- Appointment of Auditor – motion to approve Haworth & Co. as Auditor for Fiscal year ending March 2014
  - moved and seconded- clear majority in favour- Motion Carried
- Incorporation: Announcement
  - Incorporated by the Government of Manitoba
- By-Law review & approvals-
  - By- Laws developed to have oversight of Board and direction of CNRC- have been posted for the past 21 days and will be approved by an omnibus direction- all Bylaws at once
  - motion to approve the inaugural bylaws for renewal corporation as presented
  - moved and seconded – clear majority in favour – Motion Carried
- Elections/Appointments
  - Minimum of 7 and Maximum of 15 members
  - 14 members have let their name stand from the transition of Neighbourhood Advisory Committee in Chalmers (NACC) to CNRC

    - Motion from the floor to nominate Chalmers resident, MJ Mackie for the remaining Board position
    - No other nominations from the floor
      - MJ Mackie accepted the nomination

      - next Board meeting will determine which members will do 1 year terms or 2 year terms
Update to the Community

Chalmers 5 Year Neighbourhood Plan (to be adopted)- on website, Facebook, and can be requested via email or in person at 180 Poplar Ave.
- General overview of 5 Year direction setting Plan provided by the Executive Director
- Posted and available for review at 180 Poplar and on website
- Community Roadmap Visual provide as background- thank you to Donna Lee Munro for leadership/support in preparing roadmap and highlighting key priorities
- Motion to approve the inaugural 5 year Chalmers Neighbourhood Plan
  - moved and seconded – clear majority in favour- Motion carried

- Annual CNRC Work Plan
  - Brief overview provided by Executive Director
  - Complimentary document to guide NRC direction for specific Action Items in support of the 5 Year Neighbourhood Plan
  - Annual Work Plan to be formally approved at CNRC Board level
  - CNRC will give community an update on the 5 Yr Plan and Annual Work Plan at least once a year
- Community Visual- Procter Brothers production (4 part video) was presented
  - Production based on resident, NACC membership and stakeholder feedback and interviews in combination with community based visuals
