Elmwood Unity Walk

The Elmwood Unity Walk is a community-based safety patrol designed to make Chalmers and the broader area a safer, cleaner, healthier place for all residents.
What We Provide.
AID FOR AT-RISK COMMUNITY MEMBERS:
- By delivering food, water, and hygiene kits, and connecting individuals with community resources.
BUILD RELATIONSHIPS IN THE COMMUNITY:
- By providing a regular presence in the Elmwood area in order to foster positive relationships with all.
CLEAN UP DEBRIS FROM OUR STREETS:
- By removing hazardous materials such as needles and drug paraphernalia.
Our walks are hosted every Thursday from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Sunday from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Volunteers are invited to arrive at 5:30 pm on Thursdays and 1:30 pm on Sundays for meals upon request. We ask that all other volunteers please arrive 15 minutes early!
