A Message from the Easter Corridor Study (Potential RAPID TRANSIT CORRIDOR between DOWNTOWN and eastern Winnipeg)

The Eastern Corridor Study is looking at the potential for a rapid transit corridor between downtown and eastern Winnipeg. The project will look at how a new rapid transit corridor will affect transportation and land use in the eastern part of Winnipeg.  The project also includes an investigation into the future of the Louise Bridge, improved cycling and walking infrastructure, and a new transit garage.

Continuing on from the public workshops that were held in the spring, the Eastern Corridor Study team will be visiting community events throughout eastern Winnipeg this summer, to find out how the future rapid transit corridor from downtown to Transcona can best serve your community. Here’s where you’ll be able to find us:

We want to hear your thoughts, ideas, and concerns as they relate to the Eastern Rapid Transit Corridor. The information gathered this summer will help our team develop transit route recommendations in the fall.  We hope that you’ll take the opportunity to share your opinions with us, so that we can build a great rapid transit network together.

Please share this information with your networks.
