Despite the rain Happy Days on Henderson was a success!
Despite the rain, the Elmwood Community came out and had a great time Saturday June 14th at Happy Days on Henderson!!
It was wonderful to see all the families attend with strollers, umbrellas and kids in their raincoats.
Kids waited patiently in line to go on the space ship, bouncy castle and slide down, especially knowing there was a pool of water at the bottom!
Dealing with the rain brought an extra bit of character to the Happy Days experience and in a way it made everyone become more sociable and help each other find there way around all the activities. Participants quickly assisted families trying to find the registration to sign up for the bike draw as well show them where the food and shelter was located.
Kids loved doing obstacles courses and balancing on the ropes at the Fit Kids Healthy Kids station run by Sports Manitoba.
The cute goats, black sheep, donkey and llamas definitely brighten up parents and kids faces.
Thanks again to everyone who participated and we look forward to your involvement again in 2015- maybe even some sunshine too!!
