The Disraei Active Transportation Bridge opened today.

The Disraei AT Bridge opened. Grab your runners or your bike and check it out!
The public is advised that the Disraeli Active Transportation Bridge over the Red River is now open. The cycling and pedestrian bridge is accessible from Rover Avenue on the south side of the river and Midwinter Avenue on the north side of the river. A grand opening celebration will be held in the near future.

It was all we could have hoped for!!

Our sincere appreciation to everyone who took the time to be part of our 1st General Meeting and Neighbourhood Celebration last evening – It was a true delight to have a full hall for the event, highlited by great resident participation and energized to the max with loads of interest and enthusiasm!

For those who had other committments last night, we encourage you to stay connected as well.

We hope that everyone will keep in mind our ‘call to action’ as we continue to move things forward…if anyone thinks there are things they would like be involved with in supporting the betterment of our Chalmers neighbourhood, please make connections in any way that works for you.

Chalmers FIVE YEAR NEIGHBOURHOOD RENEWAL PLAN Sept 9th final draft

On September 18th, as part of the 1st annual neighbourhood celebration and Chalmers Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (CNRC) General Meeting, the draft 5 Year Neighbourhood Plan will be presented to the membership for adoption during the AGM.
The 5 year plan for Chalmers is based on extensive community input and involvement. Once adopted, it will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis along with the complimentary CNRC annual work plan. The full plan is presented here on the website, it is posted at 180 Polar Ave offices and hard copy versions will also be available at the September 18th event or by contacting Dale directly at 204-669-0750.
A Community Visual and Video will also be on display on September 18th with members of CNRC available to answer any questions you may have about the plans.
